Can you find a leak I can't actually see?
Yes. Hidden leaks behind walls, under floors or inside cabinets often show up as damp patches, mold or an unexplained jump in usage. Your plumber will investigate the likely runs and fittings to pin down the source before recommending the right repair.
Do I need to turn off my water before you arrive?
Not in advance. Your plumber will isolate the relevant supply only when needed during the repair. It's useful, though, if you can point them to your mains stopcock or tank isolation valve when they arrive.
Will the leak be fixed in one visit?
The large majority are. If your plumber finds that a special part or a section of new pipe is required, they'll explain it and quote the cost separately so you can decide before any further work happens.
What if the leak comes back afterwards?
